The Renowned Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tastings Are Back!

First event of the season is Friday, May 23rd - don't miss it!

Attracting sellout crowds of 600+, from families to celebrities, the renowned Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tastings—the Foundation’s signature fundraising event—returns to the hill this summer. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend, Barnsdall Park hosts evenings of fine wine and art in the gardens of Frank Lloyd Wright’s newly renovated architectural gem, Hollyhock House.

This summer, ongoing partner, SilverLake Wine returns, curating fine selections of boutique, small production, artisanal wines for park-goers.  Art workshops for children, music by KCRW’s DJ Dan Wilcox, and a host of specialty food trucks, also compliment this popular family friendly event that has raised nearly half a million dollars to support the Park’s capital projects, art programs, historic renovations and gallery exhibitions over the last five years. beautiful spot atop Los Angeles, Barnsdall Park will welcome Angelenos to sip wine, picnic, enjoy the panoramic views and watch the sunset for another not-to-be-missed season of wine, food, and art at this iconic cultural destination. www.barnsdall.org

"Vaudeville in the Park" at the Old Zoo in Griffith Park is this weekend!

The signature fundraising event is back on May 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Old Zoo in Griffith Park.  Tickets for this one-day-only fundraising event begin at just $35, and the event beneifts the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival 

Special Guests include, Councilmember Tom LaBonge...singing Elvis,  Erik Palladino from NCIS,  Film actress  Missi Pyle (The Artist, Charlie and Chocolate Factory, and the upcoming Gone Girl), Mitchel Evans of the Mitchel Evans Mime Experience, The Jumbo Shrimp Circus, and The Moscow Traveling Wonder Circus.  

Also featured will be Dr. Pinch & the Pinchtones plus your favorite ISC actors in guest appearances throughout the afternoon, along with strolling performers, face-painting, and some fantastic auction and raffle items.
