Tom Lamb was born to be an artist.

His father Derek Lamb is an award-winning artist and animator who inspired and encouraged him to become an artist as well.

As a self-taught artist, Tom has had his works exhibited in many galleries in the Los Angeles area. His artwork is far from ordinary. Tom is a cartographic artist and specializes in customizable hand drawn maps and custom home illustrations. Most of his maps are of the Los Angeles area where he has lived for many years, however, he is able to draw a map of anywhere based on Internet resources.

The maps Tom draws range from being very detailed to being very simplified, however each map is expertly hand drawn in ink and then colored using Adobe Photoshop. Each map is designed to be printed in a 12 by 18 inch or larger format for display.

At Tom Lamb Maps you can purchase his beautiful hand draw maps. One of his most recent works is Los Feliz, CA. This map features Griffith Park, the Observatory, illustrations of homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Ennis House, Hollyhock house, Lovell House, and the popular Shakespeare Bridge. This beautiful map is available as a 5 by 7 inch greeting card or as a 12 by 18 inch or a 20 by 30 inch print. The large format prints of the map can be customized for a small additional fee to add a specific home to the map based on photos of the home and a variety of texts can be added to the map including identify locations that are special to the map’s owner. This map printed as a greeting card is fun to send out as a thank you card and the larger prints are excellent to display in a home or give as a gift.
