One of the best activities that Los Feliz has to offer is our trails. You can find hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, paved, extreme, and Jeep trails. There’s something for everyone in Los Feliz or in LA. www.latrails.com is a great resource.
California is one of the great outdoor playground and the Los Feliz area has been Los Angeles’ outdoor playground for over 100 years.
And while you’re enjoying the trails you can find small treasures by Geocaching. Geocaching according to Merriam-Webster is “a game in which players are given the geographical coordinates of a cache of items which they search for with a GPS device.”
www.geocaching.com is THE SITE for Geocaching. You can go on there and type in your current location and it will give you a list of geocaches that are close.
These are great things to do with a family, on date or if you are having a quiet day alone.
Being outdoors is one of the reasons that many of us live in California. But it’s not just surfing and sailing. The mountainous area of Los Feliz offers the closeness to home with the wonderful remoteness to clear your head and enjoy the world around us.
